Seems to me that the fact that he'd be panicking if he were an SDSU fan just shows why he's an NDSU fan, not a Jackrabbit fan.

Sadly when I think of the NDSU men's basketball team I think about that ridiculous dance they did at their midnight madness show a couple years ago. That's what's still burned into my head........

Here's the deal...the Bison won by out-hustling SDSU. SDSU just didn't seem to want it nearly as badly.


This was another game where NDSU came out and dominated to start the second half, just like sooo many recent games in this series. That is coaching, IMO.

Oh, I have absolutely no disagreement whatsoever with what you're saying.

The results on the court don't match the talent on the rosters--or the results over the course of the year. So what can you conclude?

Personally, I think Nagy's got some kind of problem in coaching methodology or overall approach with getting his team over the psychological hump which is NDSU.

And the Bison expose it pretty much every time they get together. Short of opening up the checkbook and bringing in a sports psychologist, I'm not sure what to do about it.

I think Nagy's an above-average coach, even in D-I, but I worry that he's got some work to do in being a "big game" coach. If I knew what it was, you can bet I'd be telling him.

Or, I could have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. It's an Internet discussion board, and a smack thread to boot.

Did you expect them to come over and tell you the Jacks were going to lose by 23 ? If that was the case,they probably wouldn't have been in Fargo to begin with.
