    Re: Steve Heiden

Steve ended up on the IR list again this season today with a knee injury again.

I'm sure it's been a downer of a year playing for the anemic Browns offense, but I'm sure he would rather be playing than on IR.

Good luck to Steve again in his recovery during the off-season.

Browns signed TE Ben Watson to a $12M deal.

Wonder what that means for Heiden's future, unless I've already missed something.

Wow, $12M for Watson? That's a lot of dough for a dude that's always hurt...

That sucks. Might be nice if Steve could end his career closer to home (Minnesota) if he's got anything left in him. Tough last two years with injuries. I just hope he gets out of the as healthy as one can hope with what he's been though.

Always liked Steve. From the days of all the guys on the floor just chilling out together to the times that he came back those first couple years he has always been a good guy.

I really hope the best in his career, and if it happens to be at the end, I kow that he will be more than happy to spend more time at the cabin in Minnesota.

Anyone have any updates on Steve? Is he hanging them up, or will he catch on with someone this fall?

Doesn't make sense but it is what the story says.
Heiden has been hired by Bruce Arians in Arizona as the team's assistant tight ends coach and special teams assistant.
