I just can't see any scenario in which Green Bay would allow Farve to become a Viking.
Almost all of the comments I read in favor of signing Farve mention only one reason: to see him take the field in purple in the first game of the season on a Monday in Lambeau for a jersey retirement ceremony. Think the Packers wouldn't do everything in their power to make sure that ceremony gets into his head? Plant some seeds of regret ... turn him into an ineffective, blubbering mass of crocodile tears. He gets homesick and starts throwing balls to the green jerseys. Wonder how all the Vikings fans would feel then?
