    Stretch run for the Twins

    Twins bats need to carry them. Starting pitching outside of Santana is a big ? mark. Bullpen short of Nathan is good but not lights out.

    I think the Twins beat out the Sox for the Wild Card, always have. Just don't think they have the pitching to beat the Yanks or A's or Tigers in a 7 game series.

    Another nice win for the Twins tonight. Sox keep pace with a win of their own. Twins have a great chance to take 3/4 from the Tigers with Johan on the mound tomorrow. 1:10 start, Twins could close to within 2.

      Lariano pitched 3 scoreless with 4 strikeouts in his rehab start. When he and possibly radke are back, they will win at least 2 out of 4 games in a playoff series with a 4-man rotation.

      They have as good a chance as anyone to win the World Series this year.

        Don't hold your breath to see Radke pitch again since his shoulder is completely fubarred.

          Santana gets 18th win today. Twins only 2 games back. Liriano scheduled to start on Wednesday. Go Twins.
