Zenner completely missed a block that got stafford sacked but defensive holding called. Catch for seven yards and now running wild (called back on penalty.
It helps that Abdullah has fumbled twice.

The start of that problem is getting rid of your stud 3 technique (Suh) in a 4-3 defense and trying to replace him with an old, slow, tired nose guard (Ngata) from a 3-4 defense.

Detroit's offensive line is a special kind of terrible. Besides Stafford being a human pinata, Zenner has had some nice runs called back by holding because, well, they can't actually block someone legally.

3 yards per attempt behind Detroit's offensive line is pretty near an All Pro performance.

After spot duty as RB the first few games and starting against the Cardinals, ZZ is the second leading rusher on the Lions.

Bell is inactive for the Lions today. Look for Zenner to get about 10 carries again today against the Bears. The game will be televised on Fox in the South Dakota Area. Kickoff is at 12 in Detroit.

Really too bad. Was watching that game and he had 3 carries going for 4, 4, and 10, respectively. The 10 yard run was where he got hurt. He got popped pretty good and got up slowly.

Zach never did return. Hoping he isn't injured too bad.
