Re: Zenner continues to get attention

Two weeks in a row that the Lions heavily utilized Zenner in the first half with good success only to completely go away from him in the second half. The announcers even said that early in this week's game that he had a big first half against the Cowboys and then they totally went away from the run. The result? Two losses in winnable games. The need to run the ball to be more successful offensively, to keep the defense off the field, and to shorten the game. They failed miserably. Good ole Jim Bob Sugarlips should be dumped at the end of the year for that.

Just keep feeding ZZ and good things happen! OBTW, did anyone else also notice how solid he was in pass protection? He does the little things too!

I get that the Lions are a pass first offense but if they stayed as committed to the run in the second half as they did in the first it mightkeep thier defense off the field and give stafford less chances to throw to the wrong team. they abandoned the run the second half the last two games and they just dug a hole to where they didn't have time to run it and catch up. Obviously I know it all and should be an NFL coach.

Refresh my memory, what was that? I noticed the camera pick up Zenner sitting on the bench. The announcer was talking about third string backs. ZZ is not a third stringer in our minds.

Usually only after they tried a couple of cute little passes on 1st and 2nd downs, and finally needed to get something done.

TD Zenner. 7-7 with the end of the half approaching. Nice blocking by the Lions' OL.

Right now it's Green Bay 7, Detroit 0 early in the second quarter but Zach has had some nice rushes and the TV commentators have talked him up some.

He will be extra sharp for beating Packers now in a must win game.

Two carries in the second half. The Lions offense was just pitiful in the second half.
