I am a Bison fan who wishes this young man nothing but the best and glad we don't have to see him again. I hope he can make it.

Thanks and good luck this Saturday with ISU Red. SDSU dug a hole early and we never got out. I suppose the Bison will not do that.. ISU has a bunch of FBS transfers who have found themselves part of the fit at ISU. They are the team players that SHSU transfers were not. So I expect a close game. I don't expect a Bison score of 35-3.

I hope he can make it also. It was great seeing him at the Rose Bowl halftime.

          FWIW:

Day 1 evaluations from a scout at the Shrine Game practice.

          Another scout takes on Zenner:
          Damond Talbot @drocksthaparty
Zach Zenner looked a little light in his pants, but he showed good hands

Another good commentary on both Zenner and Crockett.

"North Dakota State running back John Crockett and South Dakota State runner Zach Zenner both stood out on Tuesday. The East-West Shrine Game has produced some quality Day 3 running backs over the years in St. Louis’ Zac Stacy (2013) and Washington’s Alfred Morris (2012), and scouts believe that both Crockett and Zenner can make NFL rosters."

Re: Zenner continues to get attention

It sounds like the MVFC has stood out. Zenner and Crockett have been the leaders in the West backfield with good production coming from Texas Longhorn back Brown. On the defensive line, Xavier Williams from UNI has dominated both on the field and with the media.

This is very true. There many youth in the Brookings area that have benefited with Zach's exposure in the community. I have talked to parents who echo this same sentiment.

Huge impact in Yankton. He has been down a couple of times to speak to the FCA group. Humble, hardworking and intelligent. His parents deserve a lot of credit.

Just a reminder: East-West Shrine Game starts in 15min on NFL network. Just saw ZZ jog by on a preview.

Zenner seeing special teams duties so far. Probably in at RB in another couple series.

Also, QBs for the West team suck. And about 5 passing plays for every run.

Appreciate any of the updates you can give. I don't have NFL Network.
