He played 21 minutes last night and Marshall played 0.

Who needs a backup point guard in the NBA?

thats pro sports for ya, go from starting a lot last year and one of the best rookies is the league and i the rookie of the year converstation and hardly play and get cut your 2nd year. Funny how Kidd was a PG but likes to use shooting guards in the point guard role as a coach.

Cavs could probably use pass first back up PG since they really only have Irving at PG and he is more a scoring PG. Isnt his former coach from last year an assistant in cleveland too?

Drew is an assistant in Cleveland. From every indication they had a good relationship.

Update, likely means nothing but the T Wolve's just released Jeff Adrien opening up a roster spot.

God knows how much the Wolves need a real PG to back up Rubio , but they supposedly have a deal done to bring over a European big man they drafted a few years ago to fill that spot.

Shooting guards whose agents are Kidd's buddies.

That's because the Bucks would have preferred to trade Wolters in a two for one, or trade him for a 2nd rounder, rather than release him outright.

Kidd--the de facto GM who thinks that he's smarter than the rest of the NBA--probably thought that playing him for 20 minutes in one game would convince the rest of the league that the Bucks really valued him, and that he couldn't be picked up off the waiver wire sooner or later.

TV just tweeted that Nate hasn't oficially been waived which could mean a trade is brewing.

Just look at their history since Nate has been there. The signings of Neal, Butler and Ridnour were ridiculous. Having Neal run the PG spot when Knight was hurt. Trading for Jason Kidd to be their coach. Their game rotations made no sense. There is no stability in the Bucks organization. They are one of the worst organization in all of pro sports imo (that was even before Nate got there). Hopefully Nate getting waived is true. I know there will be a couple of teams willing to pick him up (ie Lakers, Knicks). It would be nice to see him go to the Wolves but I'm pretty sure that wont happen.

Dellavedova has been solid for the Cavs as a back up. And yes Larry Drew is an assistant in Cleveland.

You say that, and then you name three more of the worst run teams in the NBA!

This is probably the best thing for Nate anyways
