Old Sid Hartman has a write-up on Bill Noethlich in his column today. Noethlich is an OL from Doland, SD who played for Eric Eidness at SouthWest Minnesota State and he might end up with a spot on the Vikings.

I had read the article too, and its stories like that made me a fan of him and the StarTribune in the 80's. Its too bad that Sid has focused so many of his column inches on reminding everyone of all of his well known friends he's outlived in the last decade, because he had more sources than Sheriff Andy Taylor did in Mayberry.
