I heard on KWSN that MSU assistants last year had salaries ranging from about $100k to $200k+. Consider the source but if true I'm thinking that beats the pay at SIU by quite a bit.

Salem Named Spartan Running Backs Coach


Former MSU graduate assistant spent the last five years as head coach at NCAA Division II Augustana College.


Brad Salem, who compiled a 31-26 record in five seasons as head coach at NCAA Division II Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., has been named running backs coach at Michigan State, fourth-year Spartan head coach Mark Dantonio announced Friday, Feb. 19. Salem, who spent two years as a graduate assistant coach at Michigan State in the mid-1990s, replaces Dan Enos, who resigned Jan. 12 to become head coach at Central Michigan. :: Full Release ::
