Hey I been over on your board and someone seems to base an opinion, on SDSU's loss to Cal Poly in BB and FB, and USD's win over Cal Poly in Football plus two BB wins over Binghampton and a unknown Texas team. This poster has concluded that USD is truely South Dakota Team. Now how can that be? Did SDSU not beat Wyoming and USD lost to Wyoming? So what happen to South Dakota's team yesterday? Did they get stranded in Lodgepole Nebraska? I am getting smacky but could not resist.

And I don't think Coyote Fan was smacking. I can sympathize with his finding the SDSU fan board with some comments on the game anyway, and finding NONE on his own school's fan board.

Yup. Always hard to know for sure what the words mean all the time, when you don't have body language and facial expressions to help interpret.

I just read the write-up on the Argus web site so I don't know if this is all correct.
Steve Smith had the game of his life. If he can keep that up, USD will be a much better team. They only listed the top 3 scorers. They were all seniors. They scored 47 of their 74 points. Smith normally isn't a scoring threat but Thomas is. USD played them tough and should be fairly proud of the outcome(even in the loss).
I think SDSU is getting better. USD will be OK this year but we'll see who they have coming in next year. That could be big in deciding how their transition goes.

Just wondering why Tetzlaff didn't redshirt. He isn't getting very many minutes and would have probably benefited from a year of putting on some muscle mass.

because they have 11 players.... 1 is red-shirting and they have 6 new comers to the roster this year.....

I think if you would ask Coach Boots off the record he would say he would of loved to redshirt Tetzlaff but just couldn't....

I was told that they had planned on having a football player join the team so they could redshirt Tetzlaff but that football player got hurt.....
