Montana vs. Villanova - FCS National Championship

Well the field is set. Even if we lost the ball game, I sure think the Jacks football program is on the right path. Hard to think that we had Montana down and failed to stomp them on the throat but I sure hope they win the title now.

Just happened to stumble across this thread. Thanks for your support. It's funny b/c while watching your team pounding the griz, I told my buddy that SDSU was my new favorite FCS team (after the griz of course) b/c you guys played the way football should be played on both sides of the ball. I look forward to seeing our teams meet in the playoffs next year.

I was working through my Bowl Pickem and noted that Vegas is covering the FCS game. As of today, Villanova is a 2.5 pt. favorite.

The game is on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD starting at 7:00 central tonight (12/18/).

Does Montana winning make me feel better or worse about the Jacks losing after being up 27???? The jury is still out on the answer to that question.

Griz up 14-3 after another long drive. Looks like Villanova is in for a long night.

Yes, it does make me feel better. If we had to lose, I want it to be to the national champions.

Griz leading 14-3 in the second quarter. Outside a couple of big plays, Villanova hasn't done much. Villanova's defense looks pretty soft.

We were honestly a few plays away from being able to run the clock out more for the win. An amazing turn of events happend that can not be explained for one reason over another. Since our game, they have been on a roll. Lets be thankful they were not playing like that from the start of the game. Something happened in the end of the 3 qt where it just clicked for them, seems like its still clicking now.
