    Re: USF to the FBS?

The way Kalen DeBoer has come across on Stu's webcast,he seems to be very humble and darn likeable guy. Compared to other NAIA schools an he probably has a very clean program. I agree NAIA is something like the movie "Accepted" that ran on the Comedy Channel yesterday.LOL. Maybe thats a little harsh, but rules in NAIA and NCAA are very different.

I do think JimmyJack take is correct about DeBoer in that USF has a new world coming down the path next year and how DeBoer adjusts and operates will probably dictate whether a worthy career move comes his way. Unless DeBoer commits immoral acts in or out of his current job, I would say he has a job at USF for as long as he wants it.

Right. I'm not passing judgment on him as a coach or person. But his world is about to change dramatically. He'll probably adapt well. We'll see.
      Holy nutmeg!

If he can win with 24 scholarships (or whatever the NSIC limit is) and remain compliant, then I'll be impressed.
It can't be said much better than this. Thanks JimmyJack! Time will certainly tell!!!

From what I am told, Chuck doesn't really want to leave and has had offers already to move up in level and up in salary (from a major DI school from what I recall as well, though I don't remember which one), but has turned them down due to liking his job coaching at his alum mater. I do not know Chuck personally, so I can't say this information is for sure, but I've been told this by multiple people who have played under him and who's word I trust.
