  • NDSU in NCAA Tourney

Doug Gottlieb just picked NDSU as a possible Cinderella that could make a run in the tourney as a likely 13 seed. I know a few of their fans would be impossible to live with if that happened but boy it would be fun to watch. I know I am going to be a huge Bison fan this week.

Has much as I hate to admit, I'll be cheering for the Bison as well. I won't be heartbroken if they lose but I'll be pulling for them to win.

Yeah, but those guys are already impossible to live with, so.....

I'll be happy if the Bison win, but I will not:

      1) go out and buy a Joe Mays replica jersey

      2) try and tackle the next Bison player I see

      3) Make that stupid stupid stupid "bison horns" gesture with my index and pinky fingers

      4) Otherwise, in anyway shape or form, imitate the "Our recruiting class should be nationally ranked!!! Better than the Gophers FTW 'cuz we beat them in football 2 years ago!!!!" Bizzzzon superfans.

Well, they drew Kansas in the first round in Minneapolis. No doubt they'll have plenty of fans in attendance, could be close to a home game for them.

No doubt, but NDSU couldn't have asked for a better place to be playing game 1. I mean, they did put 25,000 in the dome for the Minnesota game so they should be able to get at least that for this one.

Well, the Gophers radio network said they put 25,000 in the dome when they were openly calling for the coach to be fired. I think the NDSU alumni people thought it was about half of that. Still, I think they will get more to come out for this game than they did the football game, whether it was 25K or 13K.
