The NCC demises, and THEN UMD wins first title.

NW MO wins the Buffalo Bills award. 4 Title games, 4 losses.

Thanks for not calling the loss recognition the Minnesota Vikings Award. Congrats to UMD.

Quite frankly the NSIC has been embarrassing the old NCC as of late. They won 2 mens basketball titles and now a football championship. D2 might be watered down quite a bit in the midwest but it's still strong in other areas of the country. NCC competition or not UMD was quite impressive in their playoff run. They are a legit team, at least for a year.

See what happens when you take ESPN at their word?

I'm wrong you are right. I thought NW Missouri won last year. They defeated Grand Valley but it was the semi final. ESPN right, rabid rabbit right, boxerboy wrong.
