Ball State Chickens?

Ball State University, undefeated, refuses to accept the invite to play undefeated Boise State in the Humanitarian Bowl (held at Boise's home stadium). This writer for Rivals.com (Yahoo sports) call Ball State 'chicken'. Link.

Dave Letterman, a Ball State alum, has a "Go Birds" shirt he shows on TV from time-to-time. Chickens are birds, too.

I agree with the coach. What's the point of them going to Boise to play in Boise's stadium?? It doesn't make sense, if it was at a neutral site than yeah they are chickens

The bowl committee couldn't get a BETTER BOWL GAME (Peach, Sugar, COtton, etc.) to get these two undefeated BCS teams to play? Ridiculous!
