UNI crushed Maine 40-15. I'm very happy about that result. I've already made it clear that I didn't think the CAA should have had 5 in. Don't get me wrong, they have some great teams. JMU, Richmond, Nova, and UNH all won today. I just don't think the 5th team (Maine or W & M) is better than a lot of other teams not in the northeast.

Now, UNI needs to do the same to New Hampshire.

14-7 Weber now. They are shutting down Daly on the ground and he really is not a good passer, in fact, he throws the ball pretty poorly. Its early yet but Weber looks good and they are team that knows how to win.

Don't know if you are watching the game or not doc but it can be viewed here:

That last touchdown run by the Weber RB was nice.

21-14 Weber St. Cal Poly is driving though. Barden dropped a wide open pass that would have been six for sure.

                  Re: FCS Playoff results

THis thing has been crazy. Each offensive possesion either goes 3 and out, for a touchdown or a turnover. NOt to go Plexico or anything but Poly has really shot themselves in the foot so far.

Tied at 21 with Weber driving.

28-21 Weber. I hope our coaches are watching this game. Weber is throwing the ball at will and deep against Poly. The touchdown came on 3rd down from the 25 and the receiver was wide open in the endzone.

I am watching at the other link on CBS College sports. The wife rented Baby Mama so we are watching that as well. Not a bad flick, some funny lines. I've got 310 to Yuma as well. Trying to keep one eye on the OU/OSU game too.

Not going to lie to you jackmd, 3:10 to Yuma was not very good. By telling you this, it may lower your expectations which in turn might make the movie somewhat more enjoyable.

I've heard the same thing. We aren't going to watch it.

Weber is going to win, 49-35 right now. I thought Weber would win and picked them. Weber has a darn good team and Cal-Poly has some weaknesses exposed well by Weber. We really laid an egg against Poly.
