The Massey Comparison is out for the various preseason ranking systems. Obviously these have very little meaning particularly for the new teams to FCS but the Dakota Schools are ranked as follows out of 125:

2 NDSU
17 SDSU
58 UND
90 USD

I also follow Jeff Sagarin rankings which came out today. They have the Dakota schools against FCS and FBS as follows out of 245.

I'm a bit surprised that UND is as close to SDSU in the Sagarin ratings as it is. Oh well, in 14 weeks we'll know if there is any validity to that!

Yeah, that was a little discouraging to see. That ranking prolly got their hopes up to the point that it'll be at least 4-5 years until they start reconsidering their decision to move and take a long, hard look back at the Northern Sun...
