Congratulations to Northern State University men's basketball coach Don Meyer on passing North Carolina's Dean Smith for second on the NCAA all-time coaching victories list. Even though the Wolves beat us 10 years ago in a game that shall not be mentioned, this latest accomplishment still deserves a big "Thumbs Up" from the SDSU fan!

I have met Coach Meyer a couple of times in Aberdeen and had a chance to visit with him for a while. He is an interesting guy and is very passionate about basketball. Obviously, he must be a talented coach because that is a HUGE pile of wins. It mind boggling to think that you would have to average 20 wins over a 45 year period to get to 900 wins.
Congrats to Coach Meyer on a huge milestone!

Attended a camp up there in HS. He is the real deal and a very intimidating man. If you have HS kids and they aren't busy playing AAU games, make them spend a week up there playing games. (Especially the younger ones). He's nothing but fundamentals and he really made a difference for me going into HS.Comment
