Mid-major Gardner-Webb jumped to a 14-0 lead at Rupp and never looked back -- they led the entire game -- in beating Kentucky 84-68 Wednesday evening at the 2K Sports Hoops College Classic.

Add another footnote to the story "David kicks the heck out of Goliath".

Can Gardner-Webb be defined as a "mid-major"? I would say no, which makes their win even more impressive and even worse for Kentucky.
