    ESPN TV: NDSU v Minnesota

    ESPN has some footage tonight of the Bison win over the Gophers. The teaser intro "They brought 30,000 fans.....". Now waiting for the commercial to get out of the way so that I can see the clip.

    Two Jackrabbits living in the Twin Cities attended the game and reported there were quite a few seats open but likely those were tickets sold but no-shows. The Bison fans were loud.

    Mid-afternoon on ESPN they had a long segment and discussion about NDSU beating Minn. They even said Coach Bohl is "the odds on favorite" to coach Nebraska next year. The segment was at least 5 minutes long. Pretty good plug considering they were going over all the early morning scores. I was left with both some jealous feelings and some feelings of pride regarding the Bison win. Hope we can follow it up with a win at ISU next year.

      Bohl was the Defensive Coordinator at Nebraska during the Frank Solich years and was fired and run out of town. I seriously doubt he would return as the Head Coach.

        That's the way it looks from here in Lincoln. Bohl was run out of town. He was not popular, but that was before Callahan & Co.

          In addition, Tom Osborne picked Solich to replace him. T.O. is now acting A.D. I think it is going to be a different feeling in Lincoln and he may be convinced to return.

              There weren't all that many no shows, really. They stood out because you could see a whole block here and there that was empty. Must have been someone with a block of season tickets who didn't come to the game, and didn't sell the ticket.s
