Hadn't heard about this (maybe because, as the article notes, it was "quietly proposed" by the Big Ten, or maybe because I just wasn't paying attention), but it sounds like there's a reasonable chance this proposed rule gets enacted and would cover every NCAA sport.

If this happens more chaos in college athletics with athletes simply auditioning at all levels to move up. No thanks that will take me out as an avid fan.
