Question about the NCC when SDSU was in it

I was wondering about something. The PAC-10 started playing 9 conference games per school in football this year.

Back when the NCC had 10 members and 9 conference game per school, did bother y'all that the amount of OOC games were very limited?

Also, what was everyone's feeling about playing 9 conference game per year?

I thought it was great. I think conference schools should play each other every year. One or two out of conference games was fine then.

The coaches and AD were very happy with 9 conference games as it made scheduling and estimating travel cost much eaiser. I think our experience as an independant made SDSU appreciate the ability to have 9 conference scheduled games. I think that is why we are pleased as punch to have gotten membership in the Mid Continent and things are looking up in terms of admission into the Gateway.
