N. Colorado punter convicted in knife attack

Jury verdict today (8/9/07):  Northern Colorado reserve punter Mitch Cozad was found not guilty of attempted murder but convicted of second-degree assault for stabbing the starting punter, Rafael Mendoza, in the leg.  He could get as much as 16 years in prison.
