Former Ohio State (and Tampa, Iowa State, Northern Iowa and Colorado State) football coach Earl Bruce died early this morning, April 20, 2018. He was 87.

He coached the short lived St. Louis indoor football team for a short period, and kept the same run four yards and create a cloud of dust offense philosophy. Remember seeing them play the Kurt Warner led Iowa Barnstormers and things looked similar to what he did at Ohio State-- at least considering it was indoor football
