Some big awards announced or given this evening at the Stats FCS Banquet in Frisco, TX.

Jacksonville State's senior defensive end Darius Jackson won the Buchanon Award for top FCS defensive guy.

Last week Jake Wieneke was announced as the 2017 recipient of the STATS FCS Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award. The award was presented at this evening's banquet in Frisco held in conjunction with tomorrow's FCS Championship gage.
