Mizzou Coaching Salaries-- Answer me this...

OK-- Why does head football coach Barry Odom make $450,000 annually while QB coach and Aberdeen native Josh Heupel pull down $700,000? Odom's salary considering it's SEC seems very low. Heupel's given the fact that he was fired from his last gig seems pretty high. I'm sure there's some non state money for Odom, but this seems strange.

I'm sure I could ask or research this on Mizzou's board, but despite living in the state for more than forty years, I haven't followed any Tiger team closely since they showed Norm Stewart the door a couple of decades ago.

Bonuses.

Maybe he gets $100K per win, and $1M if he takes Mizzou to a bowl game, and another $1M if he wins the SEC East, and another $1M if he wins the SEC conference championship, and another $1M if he wins the national championship.
