The Oakland men's basketball team lost on Friday at Valparaiso, 86-84, finishing just short of a epic win.
But the loss was more than on the court.
Oakland athletic director Jeff Konya and operations director Sarah Judd crossed a sportsmanship line while arguing calls from the stands and were suspended one game by the Horizon League for "violating the Horizon League’s sportsmanship policy."
The pair will miss tonight's game at Illinois-Chicago.
Konya released a statement.
