Fighting Hawks immediately becomes Sparrow Hawks and hence to Chicken Hawks.
Roughriders has . . . er . . . "Trojans"-type connotations.
NoDaks is just kinda lame.
Too bad "Mean Green" is already taken (North Texas, I believe).
Maybe they can pull a Stanford and just be the Green.

Supposedly it is...I've seen a few of their fans posting it on twitter. A few people were saying that has gotten traction with the student body. It was created by a Chicago Blackhawks fan obviously, not sure why they assume their admin will go for it.
