Illinois State assistant basketball coach Torrey Ward and several boosters appear to have been killed in a private plane crash returning from last night's championship game.

What a terrible tragedy. Brought back the memory of April 19, 1993, when South Dakota lost some great people including our friend Gov. George Mickelson in a plane crash in 1993. Impossible to understand news like that out of Illinois today.
