I am not sure this was a good move. With each coaching change, you set the program back, how much? If they find a good replacement, then its going to take another 10 years to get the program moving in the right direction. ie Youngstown State is just now starting to put a program together, and still has weakness particularly on Defense. The UND defense did not look good this year.

Former SDSU offensive coordinator Daren Wilkinson is an applicant for the UND head coaching position according to The Forum. Not sure how seriously he will be considered, but thought it was interesting thumbing through the names. Wilkinson did a good job while at SDSU and I feel he has been the most creative offensive coordinator we've had since I started following Jackrabbit football.
