Yeah I'd say him, Nagy, Phillips, and Joe Scott (Denver coach) could all be be mentioned

Most of the discussion on the Drake board I saw focused on "major" and "high-mid-major" assistants, with only a mention of Molinari ("style is too slow"), Phillips (only two winning seasons in past four) and Nagy--and the mention of Nagy said he looked like a lifer at SDSU.

Scott makes 400k at Denver so I doubt he would go there.

If I were them I'd look at Dane Fife. He was stuck in a bad situation at IPFW, that said being Izzo's assistant isn't a bad gig so who knows if he would take the job.

Kampe's base salary is 170k...not sure about where his incentives/bonuses put him at.

Is there anyway that a coach could say be employed by the foundation so that multiple year contacts could be awarded?

I'm good with him being a lifer. I really think his track record speaks for itself. Our men's basketball program has been very successful since Nagy started coaching.

Who we going to "attract" if Nagy leaves?Let's avoid all the hassle and give Nagy,Aron,and as many assistants as we can a raise.Big time sports isn't cheap.We've got great coaches,we should try and keep 'em as long as we can.Hoping AJ and Nagy have sprouted some roots here,and will be tough to dislodge.

I'm not saying Nagy will leave, or that Drake is the place, just wouldn't surprise me if he is mentioned for the job.

I think that Austin Hanson is the guy who will be given first chance to take over the program if and when Nagy leaves.
