It is so damned sad. I know him fairly well when he was our offensive coordinator. His wife Mel is a peach. I pray authorities are wrong, but if not, it's like jackrabit1 said, it can happen anywhere. I have to tell you I m completely floored and sickened. You wouldn't ever guess Todd to do that in a million years. He appeared to be a good family man, avoided the drunken debacles that took place after games, etc.
What I really meant was coaches would mingle with fans and people downtown in the bars. My point was Todd was a somewhat quiet guy that appeared to have his priorities straight. And yes, there were people downtown that probably had to much.

Seems like in 80' s and 90's the wateringhole across from the Dome was always active on Game Days and that is what I had pictured in my mind. Like it or not Vermillion is growing which is good for everyone. Some in Brookings probably drink too much on game days too.
Getting back to the article, it appears the coach had some minors involved, so I fear another secret lifestyle is being exposed. My heart does go out to his family. They had nothing to do with it as it appears, but now have to face the shame. Another Sandusky? No Sandusky was given a license to continue his illegal activities and now Penn State is beginning to pay for its free license.

Lets leave it at that. USD has taken the right steps to move away from that behavior.
As it pertains to this situation, I'd like to hear his side of the story before I make any judgements. These charge don't seem consistent with his usual behavior, there is likely a lot more to know before any conclusions can be reached.

I was reading the thread on D2football.com. One of the posters posted a link to todays Mankato paper.
It appears the Coach took his cell phone in to be repaired and the repair people found a video on his camera which includes his own children performing lewd stuff. The phone is a MSU issued cell phone.

Had to read that article about 3 times to draw a conclusion...still not sure what to think. Having a video of your kids dancing around wiggling their buttocks, meh, not sure that is really that big of a deal.
BUT....the fondling part...why on earth would you allow that or record it???
