Putting this here because football is a driver of athletic budgets in general. Mods, if there is a more logical place, please move. Searchable database that also shows USD considerably lower than Jacks' budget.

In the span of six years, SDSU has doubled it's ticket revenue and also doubled it's budget... these are very encouraging numbers. I don't think we'll ever be on par with someone like Texas, but I think if we can keep this trend up we could end up becoming a solid mid-major program.

Dude, I'm looking at reality. I'm saying we can't compete with Texas with dollars and cents. If money was the sole factor in determining success, Texas would be national champions in every sport, every year.
