Both are tied to advertizement. I think Summit league schools have a better chance of revenue sharing than what goes on in Football. Bowl sponsors do not spread the wealth. The bowl participants make out like bandits, while the BSC barely make travel expenses. Although NDSU did make maybe 300k for hosting three playoff games. If they had went and played in the Fiesta Bowl, they would gotten a bunch of torilla chips money. Maybe I should stop buying Tostda chips and go local with Old Dutch brand. Either way I put pounds that are not wanted.

Well, since I didn't even watch this year's NCAA football championship (or, for that matter, the BCS "championship") . . .
(the conclusion is left as an exercise for the reader)"I think we'll be OK"

The only thing I like about the bowl season that would make me even think it was on the same level as March Madness is the time of year. There is nothing else on television other then holiday movies during bowl season where as March Madness the weather is starting to get nice, and all the games are on at the same time, and so on. But March MAdness is a ton more fun, more games, more drama, more who/what school? where did they come from?

March Madness by far. The national championship game was so boring this year and in fact it was the least watched National Championship game ever if I'm not mistaken. If the NCAA gets rid of the BCS and has a playoff like FCS then maybe I will like it as much as March Madness"This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time." -Tyler Durden

March Madness vs. Bowl Season? That's easy, March Madness. It's a tournament, not a beauty contest. And the Ukrainian judge scores ...You know that you're over the hill when your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill. - L. George

Who won that one? It must have been on at the same time as Dancing with the Stars.

March Madness and its not even close. While the fall is by far the best time of year with hunting season and Jackrabbit football at the same time March Madness is the sporting event of the year. It starts with the Summit League tourney in Sioux Falls and doesn't end until the last buzzer of the NCAA championship game in April.
