New Stadium-- University of Manitoba + Blue Bombers

This looks kind of interesting. $135 million is not a lot for a 30,000+ seat expandable stadium (to 40K) with a retractable roof. Would the same roof technology be scalable for something similar but smaller for SDSU?

If SDSU had a retractable roof, I'd want it *open* on cold days.

What he said. I always disliked walking out of the Dome, after a game, into a nice fall weather. It just feels wrong.

I have kind of a mixed bag of feelings toward it. I would prefer an outdoor dome as that's part of the great atmosphere of CAS. However, my 2 years with the pride is also telling me that a dome would be really nice, so the freezing cold situations of marching band dont occur (i.e. frozen trumpet valves)... overall i'd lean to outdoor if i had to choose

If everyone loves cold weather, why does attendance slacken in November? This isn"t the d-dome, the roof can be positioned and opened. Of course I live in St. Louis where the 12 year old dome must be replaced with an open air stadium or the Rams will move, so what do I know?

Cheer for the Packers! They play outside on REAL GRASS!!! and have never threatened to move...
