    I'll stick around and do Riverboat Days stuff today and tomorrow, but I'll absolutely be there Sunday for the championships. I even plan to watch the "A" game.

      The Mudcat game will be on KJAM AM 1390... you should be able to get the game down in Yankton.

      Should Dells win, the State B Championship will also air on KJAM AM 1390.

        Wynot beat Redfield 6-1, great pitching by Hames from Wynot.

          semis today is Larchwood vs Dells Mudcats and Wynot vs Dimock/Emery. I sure hope the SOUTH DAKOTA championship doesnt end up being Iowa vs Nebraska.

                Mudcats win 15-13 after they score 4 in the top of the 9th. Wilber blew a 5 run lead giving up 6 in the bottom of the 8th to fall behind 12-11. Still another gutsy performance by Matt. Dells just has too many good hitters for most amateur pitchers to deal with.

                Congrats to Dells. Renner won the A tourney again.

                  That was a hell of a "B" game to watch. I thought they should have pulled Wilbur the inning before he gave up the six runs, but that's why I was in the stands.

                    I talked to Jim Wilber about that. He said it was his fault for not getting Siemonsma and Breitling warmed up the inning before.

                    He tends to be a little lenient with Matt, not because of the family thing, but because Matt can get into a jam and get himself out of it.

                    But congrats to the Mudcats.... they dang near cost me a heart attack! LOL
