      Thanks for all the votes. We got an enormous amount of support, probably more than we expected. Smithsonian will officially announce the winners in a couple of months, but it looked like we were in pretty good shape for the People's Choice Award as voting closed May 1. If indeed our photo is the winner, we plan to create a scholarship fund of some sort for Tjay with the prize money.

        Don't know how many of you found out the results from the contest for the photo but according to the results Tjay won. But according to the results it says the photographer did not follow the rules of the contest and the runner up, was awarded the prize. Seems they don't like the way we South Dakotans support our own.
