The Brookings Register has another story on economic development, this time on the eastern edge of Volga. Due to the agricultural and research nature it seems safe to assume that SDSU is probably a part of the process and reason for the location. Even if it is not, it will certainly benefit from the talents of SDSU students and graduates.

The regional emergence of ethanol will also impact developed traits. Pioneer plans to expand its ethanol evaluation test plots to create hybrids capable of producing more ethanol per acre.
