I am probably getting real cheesy here, but the average layman should be thankful that there are courts and attorneys who can resolve these issues. I would hate to go back to the days of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton duel days. I have not had a good review of American History for some time, but I believe those two had serious issues to settle using pistols.

I showed this to my USD grad.(twice) wife last night, who also has a career in philantrophy and asked what she thought...

She couldn't believe they would even take something like this to court over $1.7 million. They're lucky the widow isn't asking for the whole $9 million back. The one "somewhat negative" article in the Argus wasn't even worth the $1.7 million in her mind.
