First week is in the book. A few notes.
Winner is still really good and the easy favorites to win 11B.
Deuel had a disappointing and surprising 21-0 loss to Flandreau. Fliers haven’t been good in years and Cardinals were supposed to be contenders.
Clark/Willow Lake beat Roncalli 2-0 which is quite the score. Good old NEC defense slug-fest.
For 9AA, Hamlin and Parkston seem to be the favorites. Was surprised Hamlin beat Britton by 52 and surprised Parkston destroyed Freeman. Thought Freeman would be contenders.
Only other surprise was Canistota getting crushed by Viborg-Hurley. Could mean the Cougars are contenders in 9AA, or Canistota just isn’t very good.Comment
