I know it is now winter because 6th Street in Brookings is finally open after the street widening project that started last string. I had to drive the whole thing today (because I could, finally). At least, this ends the construction season in Brookings, SD.

It is great to see 6th Street open for traffic! The 17th Ave./3rd St. detour had too many dips for my poor, old car......
FYI: There is now a traffic signal at 20th Ave (fire station/McCrory Gardens). -
