Saw a new 'click-bait' on Google: "Best place to raise a family in each state". For South Dakota, the party who put together the click bait selected Brookings.

I moved to Brookings in 1953, I would not say it is best place, but it’s okay. As is Watertown, Huron, Mitchell and a number of communities. No matter what the community is, we are always responsible for our own actions.
