Gold medal for the Cadet from Brookings

Ronna Heaton from Brookings SD captured a gold medal for the U.S. at the United World Wrestling Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Good for her, making her hard work pay off and making SD proud. World champion.....,has a nice ring to it.Great accomplishment,and hopefully a harbinger of many more accomplishments to come in wrestling for her,

Stricktly in the interest of trying to salvage this thread with some pertinent information,Ronna has again qualified for the World Championships to be held in Tbilisi,Georgia this Sept. 13-18.Best of luck to her,....go Ronna.

Ronna completed Worlds and comes home with the silver this time,now up in weight to 52 kg class, falls just a little short 4-2 in the gold medal match,Gives a lot of praise and thanks to Coach Bono and Coach Rieter for helping her train.Congratulations to Ronna,good work
