New South Dakota license plate design

The new license plate design has been released.

This is pretty bad timing on the State of South Dakota. I am pretty sure everyone will be more interested in the new Jackrabbit football helmet design than the license plate.

I'm confused... why doesn't it have a big SDSU jackrabbit in the background instead of Mt. Rushmore?
