That's kind of what I was thinking. Their rules seem to be rather loose and self enforcing which give them a license to cheat like crazy. I am sure DWU as well as the GPAC are pretty clean.

They cheat like crazy at that level. The academic fraud and payments they have to make to get those South Dakota kids to go Dakota Wesleyan is unbelievable. Thank god the NCAA has all their rules so everyone falls in line. I mean programs like Baylor, Syracuse, and Missouri to name a few could learn a few things from those NAIA teams lacking administrative control. Just think how good they could become if they followed in the cheating footsteps of the NAIA. I hope Penn State doesn't hear about this!

I hope you have some proof to back this up, mr76. The mods don't take too kindly to throwing half-assed accusations around without something to back them up.

I guess you missed the sarcasm portion of your English classes. What is reckless, is Nidaros insinuating that there is cheating going on at that level without any proof. It is a slap in the face to all administrators, athletic directors, etc. who work extremely hard at that level to provide a great opportunity for those athletes. Why did he have to tarnish the outstanding performance by the DWU Men's Basketball Team with his reckless comments?

I think his post was sarcasm? At least that is how I read it.

*was writing post before I saw Mr76 reply.

I don't know what he is interpreting as cheating. If he is referring to the fact that they get to operate under a completely different set of rules compared to NCAA and some of the things they do would be seen as cheating under NCAA rules... Then yes, they are cheating per se. However, I believe that they adhere to the rules that are set forth in the NAIA. Great seeing a local team do so well, plus I'm from Dell Rapids, so I know Wilber and am very happy for him! Go Tigers! Espn3 tomorrow at 6!

Sorry... mr76, I'm a survivor of the NDSU poster that shan't be named. Not to mention the fact I went to high school with Coach Wilber and am friends with his family. I got a little overly sensitive.

That's the thing about posting... sometimes its difficult what is sarcasm and what is legitimate trolling. Which is why I always try to signify something is sarcasm.

And although I'm a Jackrabbit til the day I die, I'll say for the next day or so, "GO TIGERS!"

This what I really meant. Some of these schools are too small to have a cheating staff on board. I apologize for mentioning cheating. No doubt different rules and maybe more common sense in those rules. It just might be that the NAIA does it right. Roy mentioned that you could see the NAIA tourney for 75 bucks. That tells me there is no big billion dollar contract with CBS to split up so that alone might be a reason to run a clean program.

Any radio options for this game? Might try to find it on the Tunein app.

DWU getting rolled at the half by 20 +. Someone besides Voss needs to put the ball in the hole. He has 15 of their 20 in the first half.

Wish I had known this earlier... we streamed the game at KMIT.com.

So how did the game end? Not good based on the post about the half time score.

I actually listened on to most of it on KMIT through Tunein.
