    Re: Brookings new cheese plant

With the cheese plant in Lake Norden, Big Stone, and Milbank, NE SD is quickly becoming a leader in Dairy Manufacturing. Where is all the milk going to come from? This should help bolster the already strong Dairy Mfg program at SDSU as well.

This is great news, even if it's a little "Cheesy".

probably a good amount of college students who will benefit from working their in college and gaining experince a long the way. I just watched the modern marvels on cheese the other day and I was just thinking, I dont eat enough different cheeses.

Its good stuff, we've been consuming it at our home for years now. A nice change from block cheese or sliced cheese. I worked for year as a Q/A manager in the lab of a whey processing plant. It was great for the community and personally I believe this a boon for Brookings County. Yankton was lobbying hard to land these guys but just not enough dairy farms in the immediate area and no immediate access to the interstate.
