  • Madison Dairy Queen

The folks at the Madison Dairy Queen did it again! They set a new record for "Miracle Treat Day" by selling 25,648 Blizzards for Children's Miracle Network.

And apparently, folks OUTSIDE of South Dakota are now taking notice.

DeLon and his dad are the best. It sounds simple, but attention to customer satisfaction is huge and the bar has been set very high at the Madison DQ. You don't find it often in a chain restaurant, but DeLon does it and so did his dad when he was there. They stop and visit with you, check to see if your food met your expectations and are genuinely interested in your personal life. They treat you like family. I have not seen DeLon in over a dozen years, but I'm sure he knows about my family and would still reflect on some of the memories from years gone by. It is great to see people and businesses like theirs get the recognition they deserve!

Can't say much about the Blizzards, but their malts are good, and service has been prompt.

And he's a pretty good barber! He's the one that shaved my head when they sold 12-thousand Blizzards about 4 years ago. LOL
