This was a total shock this morning. Ron and I go back 41 years to 1969 when he was my sports editor (I was managing editor) at the Watertown Public Opinion. He and Eris were a great couple and have a great family. Ron IS South Dakota State University's sports guru and did an outstanding job for the university. Our sincerest sympathies are extended to Ron and his family.
