Mooney does have a shot on a 2 way contract of saying he was in the NBA. The guys that make it to the NBA from the G League are super athletic players that are still learning to play basketball. Daum isn't that type of player, I should have been more clear on that.

Agree on Daum. He will make good money in Europe.
But Duncan Robinson, isn’t super athletic but he is getting quality mins and has started 7 games for the Heat.

        Re: Mike Daum

I guess I was going from the perspective getting to the nba is the ultimate goal not earning as much as you can playing in other leagues. Frankly I think daum should be in the G or D league what ever it is. I think his ability to shoot and stretch the floor is enough to get a chance. How much more athletic was mike miller. He made a great career as a 3 point specialist. Wolters and Daum are going to make more money yes but the nba dream basically has little to no chance the longer they are there.

Daum plays tonight (July 4th) on ESPN in The Basketball Tournament at 7pm central for the House of Paign (Illinois Alumni; got picked up as a “grad transfer”).
Mooney was supposed to be a teammate but I don’t see him on the roster.

Daum leading all scorers with 15 at the half. Getting lots of TV time!

It would be nice if Mike could get a good run and increase his exposure to NBA teams. The good thing is that people are so starved for live sports that this is probably getting more viewership than it normally would. Unfortunately Mike's team now gets the #1 seed and defending champions.

Mike’s team plays the #1 seed at 3pm Wednesday. Interesting tidbit - the coach is Mike LaTulip who grad transferred from Illinois to Wright State and played during Nagy‘s first year as head coach.

That was fun to watch. Real live sports and Daum doing his thing. He was the best on the floor, no doubt.

He has really changed his body type since he left Brookings.

Daum with another big game as the House of Paign (16 seed) defeats the No. 1 Seed (Carmen's Crew) in the TBT, 76-68. Daum's stat line. 23 pts. 8-10 FG, 3-3 3pt. 5-7 2pt. 4-4 ft, 8 RB. High point man.... He is rocking the TBT! Another tidbit. When the House of Paign coach, Mike LaTulip was looking for a team for his grad transfer year, Mike Daum hosted LaTulip's visit at SDSU...

Another huge game for Daum. House of Paign beats #1 seed Carmen’s Crew (Ohio St alums which included Aaron Craft). Daum was most valuable player of the game again.
23 points; 8-10 FGs (should have been 9-10 on a non goal tend call); 3-3 on 3’s.

Looks like BKXD and UWMandSDSU should be writing stat lines for ESPN...

That had to be one of the worst non-goaltending calls I've seen. With all of the NBA players opting out of their season because of positive tests or other reasons, there has to be some teams contacting Mike.

Something like half of the Nets team are not going to the bubble (injuries, opting out).
